It is no surprise that with the legalization of cannabis in some states, comes the necessary business measures and precautions that need to be taken. Just like people who create food, cigarettes and medicine are held to certain standards by their respective associations, we want to help cannabis buyers know that they are consuming something safe, consistent and as stated on the label.
As a pharmacist who understands the importance of pain management for our oncology patients, appetite stimulants with our HIV and AIDS patients and a number of other potential applications for ailments such as glaucoma and multiple sclerosis I believe there is no room for misbranded medications. It is also important to know if there is any presence of chemical pesticides as these can lead to other serious health problems. I strongly believe anything that we put in our bodies should be held to the highest standards and treated with complete transparency. That will be the goal that threads through every decision we make with our testing.
CAM testing lab is a startup business with the goal of providing independent analytical services for cannabis distributors, producers and consumers. As Medical Marijuana Programs become reality in the majority of the country we believe it is also necessary to have overall transparency of the product quality as it makes its way to the consumer. Our goal is to design a state of the art facility to provide data to support safety, potency and consistency of cannabis products.
The goal of this campaign is to reach like-minded people for collaboration, raise money in exchange for early access and rewards, and we also want to spread the word. Funding will go towards Phase1 which includes planning, market research and development, market study/competitive analysis and lab design. The more people we can get behind our vision, the more functional and successful we will be. This campaign will give you the basics on our efforts and progress. Beyond that we encourage you to ask us questions, donate and get involved.
