Campaign Story
My wife was diagnosed to have a rare illness last March 2019- Esophageal Ulcer where her acid reflux already affected the lower part of esophagus. She's been on and off from hospital since then. She was put on a strict liquid diet for 1 month to heal her esophagus. Last Tuesday, she was supposed to undergo endoscopy with balloon dilation to recover her esophagus. Unfortunately, the procedure failed. So the doctors immediately performed surgery to remove the damaged part on her upper stomach and lower part of her esophagus. They also put jejunostomy tube feeding on her. Then next month, she has to undergo another surgery to connect the operated esophagus which they will take from her intestine. She's still at ICU now with our current bill almost P300k. Her surgery next month is anticipated to cost us p200k.
She was a Humanitarian worker while I drive for Grab, but because of this unexpected occurrence in our life, we both lost our means of income and made our family's savings depleted.
That's why we are appealing for any financial support you could help us with.
