Medical help for my mom Genowefa

Genowefa Sikorska is 92 years old. She is my mother and I'm her only son. She used to live in Poland but when she got older my wife and I bring her to Canada to take care of her. She has nobody in Poland to take care of her. We applied for her permanent residence through Immigration Canada.

Not long time ago she had heart failure and was admitted to Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton South and after 10 days she was released home. She is not covered under Canada's healthcare plan yet. She cannot reach the healthcare she needs in Poland, because transferring her there is not an option either. She is too weak for that. She needed very intense treatment, and when her condition improved, she is in home care. We are doing whatever we can but hospital costs were very high and we are not able to handle that without help. We hope to raise money for her treatment and home care.

Through her whole life she was helping other people as nurse and later as teacher, volunteering for organization like Red Cross but now she needs help herself and please we cannot do it without supporters like you.
