Medical Funds for Head Injury

I have been denied medical and I am unable to pay for my own medical care. The day before my 18th birthday I fainted and hit my head into a brick wall. The damage caused a lot of scarring, memory loss, dizziness and fainting spells constantly throughout the day. I am unable to work or stand for long periods of time. My doctor has referred me to see a neurologist. To have a consultation can cost up $500-$1000 per visit not including the examines and test. I have called around to different insurance companies but majority of the deductions/monthly payments are the same as the doctor bill. I've tried to seek help from doctors that will work for free depending on the patients condition but I've had no luck. I'm not sure how much damage or how bad my head injury has grown but with new symptoms and headaches I'm worried I won't last much longer or to see my children grow up.
