Medical Funds for Edwin Dale Hernandez

This campaign is to raise funds for Edwin Dale Hernandez.

Last year, Dale was admitted due to Kidney problems and was advised to undergo dialysis. Because of this he needed to end his employment and was forced to retire. For the past 6 months, he has consistently undergone dialysis which has severely depleted any savings that he or his family might have.

Dale is currently in the hospital for Covid. Initally, his doctor recommended that he undergo Hemoperfusion which costs an average of PHP40000 (USD830) per session. Initially, the doctors recommended at least 4 sessions, but now this has become a part of his treatment since his situation has become severe. His doctor also advised that he needs to be intubated because oxygen cannot go to his lungs due to severe pneumonia. This new procedure will significantly add on to his hospital bill.

As of date, his hospital bill is PHP400000 (USD8307). This amount will go higher as his treatment continues.
