Medical Fundraiser for Aquilino “Tongpu” Bulanadi

Our father Aquilino, or Tongpu as he is fondly called, has figured in a hit-and-run passenger motorized tricycle accident with our mother in October 2020. Both have sustained bodily injuries and have yet to fully recover. Our mother has received very basic medical care, while Tongpu, has chosen to self-medicate due to tight financial situation. He has allotted most of the little amount that they have put aside for basic daily expenses, to provide relief to our mother who had sustained shoulder injuries. Little did he realize that months later, his accident injuries have caused blood clots in his brain causing life-threatening seizures that started occurring days before Christmas, 2020. He has since been having seizures on an almost daily basis, more frequently occurring during the early morning.

Tongpu will be undergoing delicate brain surgery to remove the blood clot that is causing his seizures and general body weakness. He is at the moment receiving medical care at Clinica Antipolo where the surgery will be done by trained neuro specialists. We are hoping that the surgery could be scheduled as soon as possible as the doctors have already said that time is of the essence. He is currently prescribed medications to manage his epileptic seizures and hypertension. The costs of these medications are crippling to our family.

Our family will appreciate any support in the form of cash donations, prayers, and well-wishes for our father. Our father has been working tirelessly to make ends meet as his occupation has been severely impacted by the pandemic to support a family of 6 children, 2 of whom are still minors, and our mother. His main source of income has been halted drastically. His faith has been steadfast as he has not given up on the hope that both he and our mother will get through their health conditions that they are both currently facing. Any amount would be a huge help and will be greatly appreciated. The funds will be used for his surgery, post-surgery hospital care, and recovery expenses.
