I am the auntie of Amarah Faye Vergara, who was born in the Subic, Zambales, Philippines on 23rd of March 2019. Sadly, She was born and diagnosed with Myelomeningocele, It is a condition where a neural tube defect in which the bones of the spine do not completely form. This results in an incomplete spinal canal. (the backbone and spinal canal do not close together properly) with further complications by the presence of Hydrocephalus which is an excess fluid in her head causing the head to swell.

Both diagnosis is needing an operations which was proposed by the doctors. The first operations plan by the doctor is Ventriculoperitoneal Shunting, a surgery to treat excess cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the cavities (ventricles) of the brain (hydrocephalus) and second operations called Meningocele repair (also known as myelomeningocele repair) is surgery to repair birth defects of the spine and spinal membranes.

My niece, Amara Faye battling to survive and the doctors are confident that they can perform operations to overcome these problems. Financial considerations are all that is holding up on these life saving procedures.

Baby Amara Faye parents are Reggie, a swineheard (looking after somebody’s piggery) and Jessa, a plain housewife. Amara Faye is their first born child as a parent they would to give their best to support and provide for their baby unfortunately Reggie’s job couldn’t support enough for Baby Amara’s all expenses specially on her medical conditions and treatment. Both parents were saddened and crying every day seeing their child suffering on her conditions. I, Reggie and Jessa is knocking on your kindle heart asking for a help for their beloved daughter who is also showing and fighting bravely for her life. Your compassion, understanding and help means a lot on our family and specially to Amara. We owe you a lot of thanks for giving Amara a help that is a life changing and We will forever cherished and be greatful for. We will keep everyone update on the progress of Baby Amara’s medical condition treatments. Rest assured that we will keep your Trust (donations) and used it for Amara’s financial expenses.

We would like to extend in advance our deepest gratitude for your kind and generosity in helping for Amara Faye’s Medical Treatment and God Bless You All.
