Medical Funding for Ceazar Sunga

This is a call for prayer and assistance. Our father, Ceazar Sunga, is having a bout with bile duct cancer and is in critical condition. Initially treated at St. Luke's Medical Center where he was confined for three weeks, he spent a total of two weeks in the ICU. He ultimately incurred hospital bills amounting to Php2.5M, where Php1.0M was settled, and the hospital providentially allowed the balance to be paid in 12 monthly installments. Because of the snowballing hospital expenses, our family decided to transfer him to the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) last February 27, 2021. In a matter of four days at NKTI, the bill already came to Php130K, excluding professional fees (PFs). While we were blessed to receive financial support from a congressman, it can only cover some hospital charges, excluding doctors’ PFs. Aside from the emotional turmoil that the family is going through, the hospital bills have taken a financial toll on us.

We are hoping you can help our family in any way you can. No amount would be too small to alleviate the pain of a loving family now bereft of emotional, physical, and financial strength because of this ordeal.
