My godson, Caede, was born with kidney and urethra problems. He is now 15 months old and has already had 3 operations and is due for another in September 2017.
Caede now has an artificial stoma, which is a surgical hole in the stomach to make urination possible since the urethra is damaged and prevents normal urination. At any given time he has to wear two nappies/diapers with a sanitary towel covering the stoma, and sometimes still soaks through. Because of this he is more prone to bacterial infections and has been hospitalized numerous times.
He is now in need of another operation to fix the urethra and finally close the stoma, which will cost R15000. However his mom, Cheyenne, is already in a large amount of debt from his previous medical bills and therefore cannot afford the operation.
Any donation towards the medical bills will help change their lives.
