Medical Fund for Maia

I'm a former filmmaker and media artist who became stricken with a very severe form of Multiple Sclerosis in 2012. Despite the gold standard of MS approved therapies, I have gone from being a very active woman to having difficulties walking, seeing, speaking, feeling and understanding. I want to continue to press on with some quality of life but I must generate funds for my care (holistic medicine, my infusions, medicinal foods, caregiving and special wheel chair). I want to continue my activism for all people battling with chronic illness but I must have adequate resources to live.
