Last March 21, 2019, my uncle, Alejandro de Guzman, underwent a CT scan and angiogram procedures which confirmed that he's having a brain aneurysm. Due to this diagnosis, he is also suffering from other complications. He had shunt surgery last March 29 to help control pressure in his brain by draining extra fluid out of his brain. This cost around Php350,000. After 10-14 days, he will undergo a CT scan and angiogram to check if there is an improvement with his aneurysm. Hopefully, it can be healed through medication. It will be based from the above procedures if he needs to undergo an operation to clip the ruptured aneurysm. The operation will cost around Php800,000. He is still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for further medication. Since his day 1 in the hospital, the hospital bill is already more than Php400,000.
