My wife, Mitchelle had a massive stroke (CVD Bleed) last Oct 6, 2016. When we first brought her at early dawn that day, doctors did not give her a chance to live due to blood clot almost covering her entire brain. But through the persistence of her neurologist Dra. Charisma L, she worked out for my wife's transfer to Medical Center 3 days later on October 9. And immediately that night she had a brain operation where Dr. Vladimir placed two tubes on both sides of her forehead to drain the blood clot.

One week after the operation she had another hydrocephalus and a clot was found at the back of her head based on the CT scan. She needed another operation though this time I waived since she was already very weak that time, she hardly moved and in coma state. We already made a decision to let her go rather than risk another operation which gave us only a 5% chance to live. But miraculously, after one week, my wife's condition improved, the clot was gone and my wife survived. And the rest is history, though from time to time she developed infections and fever which totally drain our pockets due to high cost of injectable medicines and antibiotics, numerous lab tests, x-rays and blood infusion.
Now, after more than 19 months, my wife is still confined here at the female ward of the University of Perpetual Help Medical Center. She had a discharge order already last January 5, 2018 but we cannot get her out because we had no money to pay the hospital bill which amount to 5.5 million Philippine peso that time. I wrote to the hospital that we have no money because I've been out of job for more than a year and its only me and my only daughter who stopped schooling taking care of my wife. The hospital and the batteries of doctors won't approved of our promissory note unless we give them downpayment and something to show that we are capable of paying them on a monthly basis. Me and my daughter are presently "living on a prayer" since donations have ceased and relatives and friends stopped visiting us, and worst, some blocked our communication. I have a job now but my meager salary is not even enough for me and my daughter. And my wife feeds on ENSURE GOLD milk only 6 times a day or every 4 hours. A 1.6kg can of Ensure last for 6 days only which amounts to 2,900.00 Philippine Peso. She also has her maintenance medicines and hospital supplies like diapers, glove, gauze, etc.
May I appeal to all who are reading this for your kind heart and generosity to please help my wife gets home after more than one and a half year. Even a small amount matters to us so much! We have nowhere to run to but you, readers of this campaign. Sometimes I wonder if this is GOD's punishment to us. But I still have faith in our God and I never lose hope. I know in God's time an angel will come to us and free us to all our sufferings. Including my daughter too who's future is unclear right now.
Thank you very much for your financial assistance and in taking time reading this. As I am writing this, I am teary eyed because I feel like the world is on my shoulder. May God bless you all! Again, thank you
