Last week, June 6th 2014, I had a simple thyroid removal surgery. During my post op visit I learned that I have cancer. Fortunately it appears to be treatable. Unfortunately this has, and may continue, to keep me out of work. This has been detrimental due to the fact that I support a family of 3 and my child from a previous relationship. Times are hard right now. I am so grateful for the love and support of my family and friends.
Update: the official name of The cancer I have, according to the pathology report is,
Stage 1 papillary thyroid cancer.
