Medical Expenses For Sergio “Ontoy” Mena

To all our relatives and friends, we are seeking for your help. Sergio (Ontoy) Mena is my first cousin, who lives in the Philippines, has been sick since September 14, 2016 with a rare illness called Acute Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy or Guillain-Barré syndrome (It’s when your immune system attacks your nerve cells which may cause weakness, paralysis, and probable organ failure). He is in a lot of pain right now.

The family is now in debt due to the immediate set of vials amounting to PHP 500,000 or USD 11,000 that was needed within 5 days. His hospital bill continues to accumulate due to hospital bed and service and other doctor recommended medications to manage his pain.
