Fund: Asher's Journey to Recovery
Calling out for your help with a sweet stray dog called Asher. He was rescued from the Tuas Area by an animal welfare organization called Joyous Bark and is still looking for a loving forever home.
Asher is 10 years old and was found with sizeable open wounds amongst other diseases. He was kept in a shelter where his recovery was very slow due to lack of hygiene and proper care.
I brought Asher home with the intention of facilitating his recovery, and the hope of finding him an adopter. But following a vet checkup, poor Asher has been diagnosed with a myriad of conditions :
* Residual tick fever (Anemia - low red blood count, weak liver and pale gums)
* Bacterial skin infection
* Eye infection/Discharge
* Weak bones
* Being unvaccinated
With Antibiotics, steroids, supplements and twice a week medicated baths, we are hoping to see a speedy recovery.
But we need your help!
The vet and medicine bills for Asher are very high. Asher's first vet visit + medicines cost approx $800!
The doctor has suggested an X-ray for his front legs to check for injury, but this has sadly been postponed for now, due to the mounting costs of getting him well again.
To get him back to 100%, Asher's treatment will continue for at least a couple more months with weekly/ bi-weekly vet visits.
Please help in any way you can by :
* Sharing Asher's story
* With monetary contributions : https://gogetfunding.com/medical-expenses-for-asher/
* Recommending potential adopters who would love a low energy loving dog, who likes to be petted and would come to you proactively to get his share .
For those willing to help Asher or to meet the lovely Asher, please email me and I shall be happy to share more details.
