Medical expenses

Hi everyone. My dad was attacked in his house out in Mutorashanga with axes and knifes by two robbers. He was woken up by an axe to his head, that's how brutal the attack was. He was badly injured and required intensive care in hospital & is lucky to be alive. He had 3 deep wounds in his head, two stab wounds (one in his chest & the other in his liver) and a fractured skull. The thieves made off with all his cash & other valuables.

Luckily he survived & is now recovering but the hospital bills have amounted to a small fortune - more than he can afford being retired. We are asking for whatever help, no matter how big or small to help pay for the massive hospital bills. We are trying to raise $10 000 which will cover the hospital stay, the neurosurgeon, medication & his ongoing recovery which is long & painful both mentally & physically. Luckily dad is tough as nails.

It has come as such a shock to us & the local community that people can be so brutal & disregard people's lives the way they did. Police & CID are involved but we're not holding out much hope that they will catch the perpetrators.
