Medical Expences

Hello Everyone,

We are urgently collecting funds for a friend who is diagnosed with Gray Zone Lymphoma which is a type of blood cancer. He is a 30 years old male who is a Sri Lankan. He is currently receiving treatment in Christian Medical College in Vellore India due to unavailability of treatment options in Sri Lanka., He needs to undergo an experimental treatment first to shrink his tumor followed by a bone marrow transplant. The cost for the first treatment is around $19000(Indian Rupees 1,200,000.00). The bone marrow transplant can cost between $9000-$20000(Indian Rupees 600,00.00- 1,300,000.00).

His tumor is currently 7 cm in length and 7.5 cm in diameter and growing. The tumor needs to be shrunk immediately. It is pressing towards his diaphragm which is causing him severe breathing difficulties. He is currently being treated by Dr Biju George of Christian Medical college, Vellore India. I have attached the documents provided by the hospital.
