Dear friends,
It’s the 12th and, Whoa, what a ride that was! Modern medicines’ carpet bombing campaign has pretty much laid waste to the law abiding cell population so now the only question is, was it as successful with its renegade targets? As I indicated earlier, so far no signs of metastatic activity, however, we don’t know if we stopped the malignant progression or just irritated the hell outa ‘em. Torturous limbo.
Today I quit Penngrove and begin my Wander.
wander: (wŏn′dər) v. wandered, wandering, wanders
1. To move about without a definite destination or purpose.
2. To go by an indirect route or at no set pace; amble: We wandered toward town.
3. To proceed in an irregular course; meander: The path wanders through the park.
I’ll have my next scan Oct 29th. Right now, that seems like a long time, but we all know that illusion…..
I am so grateful to all who have helped me throughout the last 8 months. It was not only the financial help, but the wonderful lift having friends, and strangers too, show concern for my well being and empathy for my distress. It's the greatest medicine.
