The distal phlanges of my right dominant hand were amputated during a car accident where by I had fallen asleep behind the wheel and hit a temporary city of Cape Town cinder concrete block. I landed on the roof of my car and as I come from a household with abuse as a model of discipline I put my hand out in attempt to prevent myself from sliding out the car (with a seat belt on) and also protect my fathers car. I was too scared of the consequences ensuing after damaging the car, and due to the abuse I had as a model of discipline from my father I put my hand on line and now at 39 and stranded in his house, I am stuck and cannot get out. I am no longer independent, I lost my freelance work and I am totally broke. I have debt up to my ears and my mom at 68 still works to pay my medical bills. The government wont assist me, I cant obtain funding for my lonely journey alone and everyone has turned their backs on me. I ly crying awake everynight and I constantly receive calls for from banks for debts i cannot pay 8 years later. Mom is broke at 68 and can't keep up with my bills.
