Campaign Story
My son, James is 14. He was born with ARPKD (chronic kidney disease), scoliosis, hyprmobility and club foot. He was not expected to survive birth due to kidney failure. He exceeded doctors expectations and is 15 next year, but his health is suffering badly. His kidney function is declining, he suffers numerous dislocations due to the hypermobility. James has developed chronic pain and high blood pressure. James also walks with a limp due to his left leg being shorter than his right. The NHS provide physio and hydro, but the one thing that helps James the most is regular chiropractor treatment, but this comes at a cost. James does receive low rate disability, but this barely covers the special shoes I have to buy him. Any help would be greatfully received.
