Albania is a small, mountainous country in the Balkan peninsula, in Europe.
According to statistics in Albania, 23% of children under the age of 18 live in absolute poverty, while 10% of children live below the extreme poverty line and can’t meet any of the five basic needs considered, including food and education or health.
Poverty is reflected in the health of children, 30% of children suffering from at least a chronic illness come from families living under extreme poverty. 50% of children suffering from chronic diseases do not regularly receive medical consultation.
Based on these data, we have thought that it is necessary to design an urgent intervention.
That is why woul'd like to sign agreements with the largest hospitals in Albania, and manage to carry out operations of some people in need, as well as free medical visits to the families where we'll go.
