When I first saw Albin, he was angry and misunderstood and came to my mother with hope of being helped but also to be understood and taken seriously. He later told me that the anger over what had happened to him was the last feeling that left him. Once I contacted him, via text message, the first thing he wrote was that he is empty of words and hope. He said he was injured by psychiatric medication. The first time I visited at his home, he met me with an empty face. We sat together in the living room of the apartment which was dark because he had the curtains drawn down due to his light sensitivity. He could not cook for himself but still asked if I wanted something to eat, if he could make a cup of tea for me. He told me that he had been locked up and injected against his will because he was considered to have a psychosis when he said that he had been injured by medication. Before the injection he had lost taste and smell and his emotions was gone and after the injection he also lost his identity i.e. those qualities that made him Albin. Therefore, he said that Albin has died, which was taken literally by the narrow-minded care system. Albin never was and is not even now mentally ill, it is the care system that is ill. "It's no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." Albin told the truth in a society based on lies and where the individuals in society have to pay with their lives for its survival. But in a society founded on lies, it becomes a crime to tell the truth. Albin was thus punished, as I see it. It has never been Albin that is wrong, but it is this society that is wrong. The injection and the trauma he went through weakened his immune system so that his lyme disease along other latent infections broke out. Still though without taste, smell and emotions, he fights on.

Now we are in Poland for treatment of my boyfriend. He suffers from late stage neuro borrelia. The clinic is good but expensive and we need a lot more money to continue. We often use the money we have for his treatments before food. It is very stressful. Money has been borrowed from friends and family but it is not enough in the long run. Albin is fighting 24/7 with the little energy he has left. He is numb all over and so just breathing is a fight. He has done a lot of tests here, he is diagnosed with borrelia relapsing fever, candida galbrata, mitochondria problems, mercury poisoning, stomach inflammation, signs of brain infection and neuro degeneration etc. He is only 29 years old, is this the life he will always have? He wants to be healthy so he can help others. I am begging for his wish to become true. In this society unfortunately money is needed, therefor I'm turning to you. Will you help Albin on his way to health, life and once again a bright future ahead of him?

Every donation matters more than you might know.

Thank you so much. / Nadja
