Loyal Foundation is providing 20000 vulnerable children, women and girls of Abayita Ababiri, Entebbe Uganda with greater choices for controlling their reproductive health, general medical services, health Education and basic needs
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
70% of the populations in Entebbe Uganda are girls, children and women lacking basic needs and health services. The rate of HIV/AIDS prevalence rate is 29% in the slums affecting both rural and urban dwellers, adults and children and the impacts cut across regions and occupational groups in the country with varying magnitude. Uganda's HIV/AIDS pandemic has resulted in over 2.2 million orphaned children who have lost one or both parents out of a population of approximately 35 million
How will this project solve this problem?
Providing family planning, cancer of the cervix screening, health education, HIV counseling and testing, mosquito nets will reduce the prevalence of HIV, malaria, fertility rate and death rate by 50%
Potential Long Term Impact
Accessible healthcare, affordable families, good health lifestyles, will lead to poverty eradication among 20000 vulnerable people in the community
