Medical Care Expenses

Someone very close to me needs extensive medical care. I've begged them to go see a doctor and I get the same reply each time.... Can't afford doctors visit.. Can't afford to miss work...fear of losing job and housing if work is missed seeing a doctor....I know that this person's medical conditions are becoming a critical issue and if left untreated Im afraid they will die or become handicapped in some capacity. The serious issues this person is facing that Im aware of are a hernia that has gotten so large thier belly protrudes like pregnancy, severely swollen legs and feet to the point they are cracked and bleeding in places and a normal pair of pants can't be work due to the size of ankles, shortness of breath and heart palpatations, painful broken teeth and gums, large protruding varicose veins throughout legs.

In 2018 I lost a very close friend to cancer. He was only 34 years old. For 1 year leading up to his diagnosis he had quietly co.plained of stomach problems but was embarrassed to talk to anyone and never made an appointment with a doctor. He finally was able to be seen but it was much too late. He was diagnosed with cancer and passed away within 8 weeks. It was a shame and a tragedy losing such a wonderful man. I feel it could have been prevented.

I just want this individual to able to see a doctor and get the proper medical and dental help that he needs. Right now he is being forced to choose between going to work each day and keeping a roof over his head and food to eat OR seeking medical attention he cannot afford and will lose his job and home if he can't go to work. No one should have to choose to be sick and unhealthy and in constant pain because they lack enough money for doctors and food and rent.
