Medical Bills

It's not easy for me to be the one to ask for help, but I have reached a point of desperation. I have started this crowdfunding account to help me pay for my medical bills. Until recently I did not have health insurance and have had several serious emergencies that have required me to go to the Emergency Room. After I did get insurance, I had another medical emergency and had to stay in the hospital for 3 days. The insurance paid a portion of that but I have not been able to pay the rest.

My husband Omar and I have a one year old son, and barely make enough to cover rent, utilities, child care, and other necessities. As a result of our low income, we are unable to pay for all these bills, and because of that most of them have gone to collections ruining our credit, which in turn is making it hard to live a normal American life. When renting an apartment we are considered "high risk" and have to put down a much higher deposit (usually equaling the amount of a month's rent), when we bought an additional car, we got an outrageous interest of 28%. Basically we are in a hole, and it's becoming increasingly hard to dig ourselves out of it.

I am reaching out to you, my friends, family, and anyone else who can help, to please donate as much as you can spare to help us pay for these bills. I know that many of you aren't doing well financially yourselves, but even a dollar can make a difference.
