It's been a 4 year journey since my mom's diagnosis, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in 2015 and after the chemo treatment wasn't working the doctors then decided that a full radical bilateral mastectomy needed to be done which gave her the all clear. However, a few months later she got her results back and it was bad news all-round. Her cancer counts were up again and she had started forming tumors on her hips. By the end of 2016 she was the diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer which has now attached itself to her spine. She is currently going through a clinical trial due to the aggressive nature of her cancer in hopes that if all else fails, they will have a better understanding of how to help others with the same or similar cancers. Two chemo's, two forms of radiation therapy, stem cell treatment and immune therapy three times a week. My mother has lost her hair, eyebrows, eye lashes but not her dignity. She works everyday (even after treatment) and refuses to give up and let the cancer beat her. My mother remains my hero regardless of her diagnosis.
My mother was there for me when I needed help, and even though she is tired and sore, remains here for me today. I have put up this medical fund to ask for help with her medical expenses. She helps others so much and doesn't ask for anything in return. So I've decided to ask for help for her, because she is stubborn. The one thing nobody tells you about cancer, is how expensive it can be! And there's still a long way to go. Please can you help me raise money for her medical expenses? Trying to give her a bit of a break so she doesn't need to stress about getting better.
