Medical bill for friend with cancer

A good friend of mine has a tumor in her heart. Due to previously treatment with limited effect, she is going to try a treatment with immunotherapy. This is a new an still researched therapy, and therefore her insurance does not cover the expences of 26.000 USD. She is a student, and ongoing treatment is making her tired, so she has limited time to work to save money for the treatment.
