Medical Assistance for Poncho Claudio

On Feb 9, 2020, my husband, Anselmo "Poncho" Claudio III, was rushed to the hospital due to a stroke. After a CT scan the neurologist discovered a blood clot in his brain, and some swelling due to water. His speech was slurred, and the right side of his body was affected. To complicate matters, he is diabetic, he's already had a heart attack and even developed pneumonia in the hospital. We are so grateful to God that he did not need an operation since medicines addressed the clot. He was discharged after a month and we had to bring him to Golden Groves Assisted Living in Marikina City, Philippines since we could not provide him with the care he needs. I just had a mastectomy a few months ago and have not yet recovered financially from that medical procedure. Now my family and Iare faced with this challenge. My savings and my small retirement pay are dwindling. While we have received some money from relatives and friends for which we are very grateful, we still have a long way to go before my husband recovers completely. I am a part time teacher due to my age (68) and my small salary is not even enough to cover my monthly expenses.
