We are a family of 3. My mom at 66 and has been our single parent for over 20 years, my brother who is a pastor and myself.

My mom has been selling balut (Filipino street food) every night for 20 years to support our needs. She goes to the market in the morning, prepare her stuff until afternoon and start selling from 7pm until 3am everyday with new years eve as her only rest day. Because of her unhealthy lifestyle due to work she has suffered a mild stroke in 2006, confined in ICU because of NSTEMI last February of this year and is now taking maintenance meds for type 2 diabetes, hypertension and heart enlargement.

Last month she has been complaining about a stomach pain so the doctor requested for an ultrasound. Results came back with her having a 10cm gallbladder stone causing the pain she is experiencing and was advised to have it removed through a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The surgeon wanted to wait for 6 months from the time she got hospitalized before doing the operation to make sure that her condition is stable, however if she experience the pain again then she will have to go through an emergency operation.

Our savings has been wiped out when she was in the ICU and her maintenance medicine cost every month has been hurting us a lot since I am the only one bringing in income in the family. With bills and rent to pay I can no longer afford her medical needs but I am a daughter who would do anything and everything to save my mothers life.

So I am knocking on your kind heart to help me save my real life "SUPERWOMAN".
