Medical Assistance For Malou Zulueta

Hello friends!

We are currently in need financial medical assistance for my mom, Ma. Luisa Zulueta, Malou for many.

She had a cardiac arrest in the midnight of Oct. 1, 2017. She was brought to the nearest hospital and revived after 10 minutes. Due to this, she developed two brain infarcts as shown in her CT Scan. She is in the state of coma from that time until now. In addition, she also has pneumonia and because of the arrest, her kidney functions were also affected, thus requiring her to undergo dialysis at least four times a week. She spent 11 days in the ICU of the World Citi Medical Center and transferred to a regular room after, still unconscious but have become more stable. Right now that she is confined in a regular room, her treatment continues. As of writing, she is still connected to a mechanical ventilator, although the doctors are already looking into the possibility of removing the mech vent, slowly.

My entire family is praying that she wakes up soon. Together with the prayers for my mother's recovery, we are also praying for provisions as our hospital bills are increasing day by day. As of October 17, Tuesday, our running bill is already Php 550 000+. In addition to this, we are on "red tag" since October 9 for not being able to give a deposit of Php 200 000. Being on "red tag" means all medicines and procedures that will be done to mama should be paid before administering or performing them. This also means that we should have petty cash all the time since immediate medicines will not be given unless paid.

I have decided to start this campaign to ask for help for my mom's increasing hospital bills. We are raising as much as we could for we do not know when she will be able to recover and be discharged from the hospital. The doctors' fees are not even a part yet of the bills that have been given to us. We are knocking on your hearts for financial help. But more than the financial help that we ask, we still believe that prayers are even more powerful. Please pray, or continue to pray for my mother, Malou Zulueta as she faces this road to recovery. Please pray also for our family's strength in this physically, emotionally and financially difficult time for us.
