Medical Assistance for Lanie

I am Jonathan Estavillo the husband of Lanie Estavillo. I am reaching out to seek financial assistance from anyone with a kind heart, to help us raise funds for my wife's medical needs and fast recovery. Lanie who was diagnosed 2 and a half years ago with various illnesses. It was heartbreaking for our daughter, Janelle, and for me to see her go through with this and most of all devastating for Lanie to endure and not able to get back to her normal self again.

Our doctor first discovered that she had Idiopathic Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, a rare disorder that destroys the red blood cell. It is a chronic illness, very sensitive and requires careful attention. This alone has obliged us to a series of lab tests and frequent admissions to the hospital every time she had a hemolysis attack. Not very long after these findings, she was diagnosed with another illness (Mitral Valve Regurgitation), which causes the blood to flow in two directions. If not properly managed, this may cause complications to the heart and lungs. This was followed by two more medical conditions - uterine fibroid myoma, and renal artery stenosis which affected her right kidney.

The series of treatments and medications have temporarily relieved her from the pain but has its downside. Development affecting her spleen, acute pancreatitis, colon diverticulosis and cholecystitis (gallbladder) has added so much discomfort to her present condition.

Just recently she was rush so many times to the hospital for severe pain due to her cholecystitis. As advised by our specialist, decided to schedule the removal of her gallbladder through laparoscopy last Sunday, May 12. She is slowly recovering and we are hopeful that this will have a positive effect on her condition.

During the phase of less than 3 years, it has become a physical struggle for Lanie. The lab tests, medical treatments, and frequent hospital admissions in the course are extravagantly expensive. This has likewise drained our funds and exhausted our savings.
