Medical Assistance for Jona

I was first diagnosed with Uterine Leiomyosarcoma last Jan 2016 and underwent chemotheraphy and surgery in the same year. Last year, Sept 2018 a tumor recurrence was discovered when I complained about the pain in my lower back thinking it was sciatic pain. MRI and biopsy results proved that my previous cancer made a come back this time with 2 9cm x 7cm x 4cm as a soft tissue mass and infiltrating my iliac bone. I underwent another bout of chemotheraphy with Doxetacel and Gemcitabine this time. Praying and hoping that the tumors can be dissolve by chemotheraphy alone.

However the result of my PET scan still showed tumor activity thus, I was advised to undergo radiation therapy to stop the tumor activity and kill it before it destroy my spine. I will need another chemotheraphy cycle as well to control the disease and to avoid recurrence.
