Medical Assistance for Domingo Villaruel, Jr.

It was just a few weeks ago that our family had to face an ordeal. Our father, Domingo "Jun" Villaruel, Jr. suffered from multiple stroke. We rushed him in the hospital, unconscious and barely breathing. Soon as we got to the hospital, the doctors who attended to him advised us that he had to be transferred to the Intensive Care Unit.

Every day for the past 14 days when we would visit him in the ICU we would talk to him and tell him to keep fighting. We would see him move his hands in acknowledgement and we would be very happy.

Our running total hospital expenses is now at PHP400,000.00. Realizing how hard it is going to be to raise that big amount of cash, I asked myself, would this be the last time I can hold his hands? Then everything just flashed back. We were so scared, afraid that we might not have the chance to tell him how much we love him. He is a faithful husband, a loving son to our grandparents and his siblings, a God-fearing individual but most importantly, he is our father. The only person that can make us all laugh and cry at the same time with his jokes, the person who would happily wake up at 3AM to prepare breakfast for us and would tirelessly work 7 days a week. I miss our daily conversation. I miss his voice. I miss my father. Please help us extend his life. We cannot lose him. Not yet. That is why, with great humility in our hearts, we are asking for your help. Any form of help would be greatly appreciated, be it in monetary, prayers, or even sharing this on your social media accounts.
