Medical Assistance and Cardiac Angioplasty for Alicia Garganta (UPDATED)

Hello everyone!
We are humbly knocking on your hearts doors for any assistance you can give. Our Mama (Alicia or Alice Garganta) is confined again in the hospital (3rd time) and in need of immediate Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Surgery, because her heart is failing.

Last week of May, she was rushed to the hospital due to difficulty in breathing. Upon admission, it was found out that she has fluid in her lungs. That was her first hospitalization. She stayed in the hospital for 5 days and has undergone several lab tests including 2D Echo.
Then 2 weeks ago, my brother had to rush her back again to the hospital for same reason. This was her 2nd hospitalization. It has been confirmed that Mama suffered from cardiac arrest. She was immediately admitted to roomed ICU (Intensive Care Unit).

The doctor recommended for coronary andiogram to determine any abnormalities in hear heart or blockages in her coronary arteries. After the procedure, it was found out that 90-100% of her heart is already blocked. The cardiologist recommended Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery as soon as possible.After more than a week in ICU, she was discharged for home care until such time that we have enough money for the surgery.

I, together with my youngest brother, are personally taking care of her. Mama's lungs are continuously accumulating fluid and she's having difficulty breathing. While there are medicines to help her, the doctor said that the reason her lungs is always accumulating fluid, is because her heart is failing and the only way she will get back to normal is through the surgery. Last night we had to bring her back again to the hospital since she's having difficulty in breathing.

Our family is not used to asking for assistance, but we have no one else to run to and we don't want to add any burden to those who aren't able to assist. Her cardiologist estimated the cost of the surgery at Php 1.5 - 2 Million Pesos, excluding the medicines, hospital bills and other costs after the surgery.

As you can imagine, the hospital costs from her 3 hospitalization, lab tests, andiogram, ICU admission, plus medicines has already weighed heavily on us, and there was no medical insurance except for PhilHealth to help ease the cost of the surgery. To be honest, our personal and family savings have already been exhausted as well.

We are humbly knocking on your hearts doors for any assistance you can give, as every little bit helps for my Mama's hospital bills and heart surgery. And if kind donations are not possible, we ask for you to share this post and pray for our Mama to get better.
