Derek has been sick with Liver condition for nearly eight years, we recently learnt. Early this year, Derek's heamoglobin count was considerably low for a grown up male and consequently a number of tests were done which revealed a life threatening Liver condition. Not only was this a surprise news, it is a sad and devastating news for Derek and his family. Since then, he has been admitted for treatment several times. Now, Derek urgently needs a Liver graft - the doctors in his care recommends.

Derek is a dear brother, a husband and father. He has, and continue to have a great support from family members and friends. However, it is clear that Derek needs a lot more support beyond that of immediate family members and friends. Without such support, his quality of life will deteroriate further and most likely, prematurely end his life. Furthermore, his treatment so far requires family members and friends to financially support him due to inadequate public heatlth service in Nairobi where he lives and works.

I am appealing for your help through donation on GoGetFunding platform or, via pay bill number 198952 for those in Kenya who cannot use the platform.
