Anna’s fight with her kidney

Over the years, my Mom Anna has endured a lot just like all great mothers out there. Because of financial constraints, she has not received proper medical care for herself as she would always have the family's well-being first. Just this May 21, 2017, she was rushed to different hospitals as she suddenly fainted.

My father, rushed her to all the nearest hospitals but none took care of her. They mentioned that she won't live anymore and was rejected. Luckily, she was admitted in Makati Medical Center because of the health card I pay for her and has been in coma for 4 days. She has been in the ICU and was diagnosed not only with kidney failure, but her whole body is now weak. She has already received 4 dialysis and 2 blood transfusions. She'll have 2 more blood transfusions and 1 upcoming surgery since the dialysis can no longer help her.

The longer she stays in the hospital, the more I get worried as our running bill continues to go higher. With all our savings used up, we can no longer afford to have her medicated and uncertain of what will happen. We are seeking for assistance to pay for the hospital as we are given an estimate on when she may be able to discharged. We hope, with everyone's help, my mother will be discharged in good condition and can live a little longer.

Anna has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease stage 5 (end-renal) thus she needs to continue her dialysis and medications. With this, we are asking for your assistance in supporting her to make it through this difficult time.
