Meats For Families in Need

I am a country girl that has been so blessed to always have home grown meat in my freezer. I am sure you will figure out I am not a professional at asking for funds and I hope that will not detour you from reading my plea and helping Thank you for your time. I know many that desire to have that blessing but many things stand in their way. So I recently took on the adventure to create a place for people to come learn the amazing skill of harvesting their own foods I am going to be homnest during winter we are harvesting meats. With so many indivuals struggling with the costs of food and all they have is time and knowledge to spare I felt I could do more. I am in the beginning stages but being able to offer than Chickens would be great. We have purchased a few pigs but the costs add up with gas, time, and purchase.

I am a down to earth person and I do not expect everyone to agree. To them I say that is ok we are all individuals and we all thrive in different ways but the acceptanced of that is what creates friendships. Here is a Break down of what I am doing and How your funding can help.

I am gathering livestock and I hold them at my property long enough to ensure they are healthy. Most come from individuals that raised them for butcher on their small homesteads, so they have been well cared for. While they are here I find families that are willing to come help process their own meat for their freezers. I then create an Event on the FB Page and also invite others I see in need. On the day of event those that show we all hunker down and get the job done, help each other, talk and laugh.

(This serves many purposes. 1. We get meat//food in families freezers. 2. People get to know where their food is coming from and how it was handled. 3. They get the pride of working for the food that goes on their table and others. 4. Indivuals that are normally not able to do much get out and get to socialize and in turn creates friendships, decreases emotion and mental problems that come from being cooped up and unable to control even what is in the fridge. 5. Learning a survival skill in a sense teaching them to fish not just providing the fish.)

Your gifts will help the purchase of whole beef, pork, and lamb for families. It will help with my fuel cost to get them to my place. If there is room financially I would like to invest in processing equipment to help make the process easier. Any thing helps!
