Meal and Company for Christmas

Hi all, As I do not have family to see over the Christmas period, I thought it would be a nice gesture to hire a suitable venue, with kitchen facilities and cook a nice Christmas dinner for those people that will be on their own over the festive period. I obviously do not know the total cost of venue, food or entertainment, this is why I am looking for your help so early on in the year. Nearer the time, I will be looking for volunteers to help me and if I'm lucky enough to get some funding by the middle of 2015, then I can start to cost the event. I am also looking for an independent volunteer treasurer to make sure the funding is spent wisely. I live in the North Norfolk area of the UK and depending on the amount raised, will be inviting people that can get to the venue, by themselves or with the help of volunteer drivers. Numbers, I'm not sure of. All I want to do is give lonely people a Christmas to remember and hopefully repeat the event in future years. I welcome any donation, no matter how small, as the saying goes, every penny helps. I would also appeal for gifts and donations from local businesses, near to Christmas.
