Tragedy struck the McPherson family on July 13, 2013- beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend Nicole McPherson was taken suddenly from all those who love her. Over the past 8 months, Mike and Nicole have shown all of us strength, grace and the amazing power of positivity in trying to bring their baby Nixon safely into this world. Mike and Nicole were faced with many challenges in this pregnancy, including living apart, financial sacrifices and many health issues for both Nixon and Nicole. Throughout this whole process Nicole always said “As long as Nixon makes it here safely that’s all that matters- that we are a family. Everything else can be figured out later.” It is this amazing attitude and dedicated perseverance to her family that makes Nicole truly a unique human being. The McPherson family is faced with the unbelievable reality of having to go on in their lives without Nicole with them on a day to day basis. To know Nicole was to love her, because she was love- she was positivity, love, warmth, caring and joy.
