Campaign Story
Marine Conservation Cambodia is an interdisciplinary NGO, composed of both international and Khmer staff, situated in the Kep Archipelago, Cambodia. Our team inhabits a small island called Koh Ach Seh, from here we conducted pioneering marine research and conservation. MCC works with local communities to protect many important marine habitats and species, including seagrass, coral, seahorses and dolphins!
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, many international staff, along with a cohort of volunteers had to return to their respective home nations, leaving a skeleton crew to continue our research and conservation efforts. This fundraising aims to ensure the continuation of important conservation activities such as the deployment of artificial reef structures and underwater surveys.
Aim:
To raise funds to support the continued research and conservation at MCC.
Objective:
Staff and Volunteers will complete tasks, challenges and competitions, to promote and sponsor the work conducted by MCC.
Some examples of the activities we’ll be doing:
500km hike across the Alps
30,000 push-up challenge
Running around in circles
And special guests appearances !!
What can you do:
You can sponsor an individual or donate a sum to contribute towards the ongoing conservation efforts at MCC!
By donating a certain amount you help us make these efforts possible:
2€: Tiny jars for cute seagrass sample
5€: Magician of the ocean costume to amaze the kids (look at the picture how amazing it can be)
10€: Lights for the boat to help our captain to keep us safe
