Mbali The Movie

Mbali is a vibrant and talented young woman with a dream of becoming a media powerhouse.
Mbali lives with a Cleft Palate, she experiences struggles such as hearing and seeing impairments, struggles to read at length and retain information as reading and memory retentive exercises for lengthy periods lead to severe headaches.
In spite of the challenges presented by her disabilities, she studied at Pretoria School until grade 9, before deciding to pursue her media aspirations at the South African State Theatre.
She has graced stages and screens with her talent, appearing on stage productions such as: Reflections 2015, Moshit 2016, The Spechuler and Rain Water.
She has worked on the documentary, Now or Never that aired on SABC 1 and the gripping UK based series, Liberty, with South African film legends Wandile Molebatsi and Noxolo Dlamini, to be released in 2019.
She is also a musical talent, as an aspiring rapper who has released a single titled “My Life”, under Meek Music produced by “Wowo” Mndau, which was on the Top 7 Hip Hop selection on Google Play Music in 2018.
Our Marvelous Mbali is at it again, working on a new project for your consumption, but this time she needs your help.
This new project is a fresh look into the life of an orphan with a disability who, like our marvelous Mbali, takes on the world and allows it to embrace her for all the amazing talents she has to offer.
Differently abled children often grow up with dreams the world tells them they can’t reach, because of the challenges they face.
Please help us change this for all the little girls and boys with hearts full of dreams they’re told aren’t possible because of their difference, by backing our buddy, Mbali.
Any contribution made to get this new and exciting project off the ground would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way towards creating this reality for other beautiful differently abled young girls and boys with dreams of one day being a part of South Africa’s media and entertainment industry.
This movie is shot soon in Gauteng and Eastern Cape Province.
