May Not Seem Much But Would Make Her Year

Hi guys, i know this may sound like a bit of a sob story, but i really dont want it to be viewed that way. Over the last few years my partner and I have had a raw deal, losing family and our home due to illness, and generally a rough run, we spent the last few years living in a small bedsit which was freezing and pretty dire.

We have so much debt due to the house that we will be paying it off till we die, this leaves us with no money after we finished working, yes we work, but such is life, theres loads with debt.

However, we are battling back, we managed to get a place, through an association, but it needed fully decorating and fitting out. I have spent the last couple of months decorating it, buying a bit of paint here and there.

So what am i asking with help for, my other half has been through the mill the last year or so, losing her mum, having to live as we do, and well shes not her happy self, and considering all she does for everyone else, from caring to just running everyone around, to trying to be the strong one, i would just love to be able to give her something back.

We have no flooring, no cooker and so would love to be able to get the new year started with carpets and lino for the small kitchen area and a gas cooker (we currently use a small halogen thing, unfortunately we dont have a hob for fried eggs - life is terrible lol).

I know these things may not seem a lot to most, but to us and especially her, it would make her xmas or new year, with no money left over after the debts have been paid we will never get to buy any of them anytime soon, so heres hoping that a good few people out there will understand how sometimes the simplest things are the best (ps the photo is our flooring , i didnt know what else to put lol)

ps if you feel like donating for a christmas tree, that would make her smile too
