May love in Oranienburg

We would like to share about an exciting opportunity we have been given this May. We have prayed and thought about it a lot and we have decided to give our time to God by serving Him on the mission field. From May 1 to 15 we will be going on a mission/vision trip to Germany as L. E. A. Pers. L·E·A·P (the Learn, Experience and Apply Program) is the premier leadership development program for Parklands Baptist Church (PBC).

L·E·A·P is a 3-year program that aims at encouraging young leaders to explore a calling to full-time Christian ministry through learning, experiencing and applying full-time Christian ministry principles in a church or parachurch setting.

For 2 weeks we will dedicate our lives to serving others. First, we’ll work with Christian Youth Centre Oranienburg to reach their community targeting the youth. Our desire is to see youths who are rooted in the word of God, refined in their ways and relevant to the world. We shall achieve this by having workshops, bible study, sports, talents, and skills.

Before we leave to go on this mission trip, there are 2 things we have to do. First, we need people who will be our prayer partners as we prepare and during the actual trip. By praying for us as we prepare to leave they will have a direct impact on our ministry. Prayer is vital to everything in life, and this trip is no exception. Second, we need to raise financial support. We want to raise ksh200, 000. However, we can’t do it alone. We are seeking financial supporters who will enable us to serve God on this trip.
