Max’s Medical Bill

Hi good people of the world. I need help with paying medical bills for beautifull puppy named Max.  Me and a friend find him on the road, with a crushed bone near his joint.. He was probably hit by a car. We immediately took him to veterinary hospital without thinking about the cost of it.  When the vet saw him, he said that his life is not in danger, but that his leg is not only broken, but crushed in several parts and that he will perform the surgery next morning.  The vet also said that the puppy doesn't have a microchip and that probably someone just left him out on the street. Now Max is done with surgery, they implanted him external fixators and he is now in recovery, and we found a home for him but only thing that isn't solved yet is the medical bill that is way too expensive for me and a friend to pay. The bill costs roughly 550€, which is in Croatia (where we live), a monthly paycheck. They also gave us a due of one month to pay.
