Mau's Fight Against the 2 Big C!!

Hello everyone! I am doing this fundraiser for my younger sister, Maureen Baviera, 27 years old, who is currently battling both Ovarian Cancer Stage 1A High Grade and Endometrial Cancer Stage II.

Around October 2019, we discovered a growing tumor in her left ovary (16cm) and thickened endometrium through ultrasound. She opted to have herself checked because of abnormal bleeding since July this year.

First, she underwent Dilation and Curettage last October 26, 2019 for her thickened endometrial lining and they also did biopsy. Unfortunately, the result was she has Endometrial Cancer Stage 2 (Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma, Well Differentiated)

After two weeks, just the day after her birthday, November 15, she then underwent TAHBSO (Total Abdominal Hysterectomy Bilateral Salphingooophorectomy) to remove the tumor and the rest of her reproductive system. The OB Onco did not want to take risk and to prevent metastasis hence, the TAHBSO. Biopsy of the said operation turns out to be Ovarian Cancer Stage 1A Grade 3 (Papillary Serous Carcinoma, High Grade)

Her Oncologist told us that the surgical pathology report was in our favor because of the early detection but said that my sister still have to undergo 6 cycles of chemotherapy and 4 sessions of brachytherapy for us to win this battle against the 2 big C's.

Mau have to start her first chemotherapy session this December 9th and she still has a long way to go. Your financial assistance in any amount will do and will be very much appreciated. We are also asking for your prayers for her full recovery. I know it will be Christmas in less than a month already and having this kind of struggle is painful and difficult but this sacrifice will mean more Christmases and holidays with Mau by our side.

UPDATE ON MAU

Today, February 20, 2020, we were able to finish off one of my Raffle Fund Raising event and it was a successful!! Thank you everyone who continuously support me on my journey.

I am now currently recovering from my 4th Chemotherapy Session (experiencing severe bone pain and metal like taste food, most especially fatigue huhu) I am more than okay than my first cycle! FIGHTING!

I am on my way to be cancer free!! 2 more chemotherapy session and 4 brachytherapy then I will be scheduled for PET/CT Scan again. I am hoping that you can still help me support my financial needs as I am now PWD and has no work no pay.
