Taking care of Maureen❤

Maureen George is our dear friend, neighbor, sister, and coworker. She has a progressive form of MS that has left her without the use of her body, essentially quadriplegic. Maureen is completely reliant on help for daily living, and her main caretaker, her brother Mark is burnt-out and needs some balance and personal time off to continue to help part-time. This fund aims to create a sustainable monthly way that we, as her support community, can provide for her care and allow her to stay in her own home. In talking to Maureen and looking at her expenses including mortgage and part-time care taking, her situation will remain secure and workable at 3000.00/mo , so this is where I'm setting our goal. (Please feel welcome to contact me regarding questions and I can share more about what I've learned). Reaching this goal is reasonable and achievable. It will require 60 people to set up a recurring monthly donation of $50, or 30 people to set up a reoccurring donation of $100. I personally I will reassign my reoccurring charitable donations to this fund. Any reccuring amount is welcome from any friend anywhere who wants to help.

There is so little we can do for Maureen to help her bear the burden of MS, which she does with such grace. If you are able, please join me in helping to make it possible for Maureen to continue to be comfortable in her own home, not have to worry, and afford the additional help she requires.
