Hi, we are Maullidos de Esperanza (Meows of Hope), a nonprofit organization (registry no. 320061 under Puerto Rico law). Our goal is to spay/neuter and vaccinate colonies of abandoned and stray cats in the city of Mayaguez, PR; to control overpopulation and improve the stray cats’ life quality. We also work hard to find forever homes so that the cats don't have to return to the streets.
There are more cats in both colonies and we need to spay/neuter and vaccinate them (about 20 cats). We want to trap, sterilize and release them. We are also fostering 35 cats (from both colonies). Three of those cats are one eyed cats and need surgery. There is another cat who has no eyes and need surgery too. There are three with feline leukemia and one with FIV. Some of them have special diets too. Please, help us with our project. If you want to adopt, please send an email to [email protected]
