Mature student laptop fund

I am a mature student about to begin a BA honours humanities degree with the view to become a qualified teacher. Unfortunately my laptop (which I've had for over 10 years) has died and I'm due to start my course at the beginning of October. I'm a full time mother and would be doing this degree part time for the first few years and as such I'm not entitled to any funding to help me afford a new laptop. The one I've seen is £230 and although I am doing my best to raise this money myself by selling off my wedding dress and other items, I'm no where close to the amount needed. It's a distance learning corse through the opeN university so a laptop is essential and we just don't have any money for one as this was unexpected to say the least!    Any my donations you can put towards this would be amazing. My dream is to teach and being so close to starting down this path only to have this road block is a massive disappointment.    Thank you for your time.
