Mattresses For Orphans – Grassroots Children’s Foundation

You are so blessed. You have the ability to have a roof over your head, food on your table, clothes on your back and a nice place to sleep at night. Not everyone is so lucky. These orphaned/vulnerable children have very little. Food and clothing are scarce. Most sleep in one bed bunk with many other children. They sleep on thin blankets on a hard floor. We kindly need 25 blankets, 20 small mattresses needed because they will share, each mattress can cover 2 children, 20 mosquito nets. with $1,200 we can get all those things.

Please help make their lives just a little more comfortable by donating a Mattress, blankets, mosquito nets. We are trying to have enough mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets, for 30 children, all orphans. A donation of just $30 is enough to buy one mattress, $5 is enough to buy one mosquito net, $20 is enough to buy one blanket. Skip a few specialty coffees for the week, that scratch-off lottery ticket, or that fast-food run and use that small amount of money to make the life of a needy child just a little brighter.

We will post pictures of the children with their new bedding and post receipts to show how the money was used.
