Campaign Story
Nicholas and Matthew need specialized medical care we cannot afford, we have spent all our saving. We have been told without medical insurance and treatment they will go totally blind.
They are both legally blind and need special care at school. They currently see retinal specialists Dr. Fulton at Boston Children Hospital.
Matthew and Nicholas are identical twins born at UConn Hospital in Farmington, CT.
Both boys are in good spirits and work hard daily trying to live like a normal child. When watching TV or playing a video game they must sit within 12 inches or cannot see the screen.
Our only hope in preventing blindness is continued treatment which includes stem cell and DNA research. These treatments are very expensive even with the best insurance available. Any help would be much appreciated.
Sincerely,
The Adamowicz Family
